Hola!
I gathered all the information here while saving for my first house deposit. If you are a first time buyer with a financial mountain to climb, then I hope you will make yourself at home here in the meantime…on the way to buying your own!
I hope you’re happy as Larry to find a blog that aims to help you earn and save more rickety tick. I’ve never worked out who Larry is, but apparently he’s always happy…So best be more like Larry.
Blog posts and podcast episodes fall into three categories:
Property: Ideas for choosing a property that lets your mortgage offer and deposit meet in the middle
Spend better: How to get better value for money in all the other budget areas of everyday spending
Food and fitness: This is where I’ll write about all sorts of health-related and grocery savings
I’m Bear, by the way. You can find out more about me and the blog posts you want to read first on this page: Start Here
If you like the podcast, why not share it with someone you think would find it useful? You can find me in these places outside the blog also:
Pinterest
Twitter
Instagram
If in doubt, I’m @savelikeabear everywhere. If you have any group boards of your own on Pinterest you want me to join, just let me know.
I spend most of my time creating for the blog, and talking to subscribers and commenters rather than on social media, but by all means follow for future updates! Feel free to share the blog and use #savelikeabear
I haven’t promoted the Facebook page, so you can have the honour of being amongst the first to like and follow Save Like A Bear on Facebook.
I’ll also be posting to YouTube in the very near future; feel free to subscribe now so that you get notifications when those videos are ready.
I hope that you can benefit from what I’ve learned about raiding the consumer landscape for better value for money, and how to navigate getting onto the property ladder.
Join the mailing list for more shortcuts and to stay in the loop. Are you paying yourself first and always? Find out more about that in the link below.
This post tells you more about what email subscribers can expect to receive (hint: it includes a free bonus gift!).
